How do I get there?
Fly into Cancun (CUN) or Tulum airports. As soon as we have it, we will provide contact info for pre-arranging transportation to/from the hotel. The hotel is about 1 hour 45 min from the airport so you must book in advance.
A private shuttle will cost $100-150 each way, while a taxi will cost $150+. We recommend coordinating with other travelers to share private transport and no matter what, pre-book.
All travel costs are your own.
What am I paying for?
Hanne and Trey are paying for Thursday and Friday nights at the hotel which includes breakfast, plus the events they are hosting (Thursday welcome drinks, Friday cocktails-dinner-dancing).
You are responsible for your travel costs, food and beverages outside of the events, spa services and any other extras or incidentals. At the time of your final RSVP, a credit card will be required by the hotel to hold your room and for the extras. If you would like to stay more nights, please do! The extra nights will be at your expense but extra nights INCLUDE $100 SPA CREDIT.
What about other meals?
The hotel has a restaurant, Nü, that is one of the top five in the Riviera Maya! The birthday dinner Friday will be held here.
Breakfast is included with your room! For lunch and other meals, there are other onsite beach/jungle restaurants, as well as more within walking distance. Other meals are at your own expense.
Plans are being made for a group dinner on Thursday evening for those that wish to join. Details will be available closer to the trip.

What if I have to cancel?
We understand that life happens. However, the deadline will be posted for cancellations (likely early December) after which time, you are responsible for any costs associated with cancelling, including your full room rate for Thursday and Friday nights. We will do our best to fill your room to avoid unnecessary costs, but Hanne and Trey are only responsible for rooms with people in them. Please do not take advantage of their hospitality by cancelling after the deadline.
Get the best rooms and the best deals for travel by committing early!
What about gifts?
Your presence is the best gift Hanne could possibly hope to receive. Because she is traveling, and isn’t known for packing light, please do not bring gifts for Hanne to Mexico. :)
What’s the dress code?
Our best advice is always to wear what makes you feel good and look fabulous!
For welcome drinks Thursday and anything else, beach casual is the way to go.
For the birthday festivities on Friday, we’re calling it “Beachy Glam”. This can include linen or sequins or both, and anything in between. Hanne will be wearing heels to dinner and ditching them for dancing on the sand.
Can I make spa appoint-ments?
Yes! If you book a 3rd night, $100 spa credit is included in your stay. We fully recommend taking advantage of this weekend to pamper yourself. Spa appointments can be booked directly through the hotel.
Of course, all fees associated with the spa or other extras are your responsibility.
